Ghost of Tsushima - Hero of Tsushima (Lord Adachi Armor)

Lord Adachi armor was a cool one to work on mainly because of the fur cape and the challenges it brought into shaping the silhouette and making it work with the underlying pieces. Similar to other characters, I felt like we needed tertiary details and decorations on the armor which would be rewarding for close-up shots and photomode, without changing the overall shapes, color and visual integrity. Mitch Mohrhauser who made the concept was open to the idea too so we did the lookdev of the close up details. To tie the details of the armor to that of Masako's I came up with bamboo and tiger motifs for the helmet and armor. For the laced armor pieces I used the base panel made by Eunhye Lee as well as the base Marvelous Designer pattern for the hakama. Chin rope was made by Eiad Dahnim. Sword was made by Trace Studio. https://www.artstation.com/trace_studio. Low poly, baking and textures were done by Trace Studio with some adjustments to the textures and materials from me.
